Heritage Farmstead Museum is one of my favorite places in Plano. They have a bunch of different exhibits, including a blacksmith shop, cotton gin, and barn. They also have a bunch of animals on the property, which my kids love seeing. It's a great place to learn about Texas history. Plus, it's free! Heritage Farmstead Museum is worth checking out if you're in the area. See here for information about The Interurban Railway Museum: A Lesson in the Past.
